Philanthropy

The Rhode Futures Foundation was created with a dedicated mission to foster a future in which women and women-identifying individuals have fair access to opportunities, healthcare, and financial stability. From its inception, the foundation has committed at least one percent of annual sales, alongside team involvement and internal resources, to support organizations that address systemic obstacles limiting career growth, restricting healthcare access, and hindering long-term financial security. This commitment intentionally includes non-binary, transgender, and non-cisgender individuals, recognizing that true gender equity must be broad, inclusive, and intersectional.

The foundation emphasizes building strong, lasting partnerships with organizations that focus on women from historically underserved and marginalized communities. By funding programs that offer practical support, educational opportunities, healthcare services, and financial resources, the Rhode Futures Foundation seeks to empower individuals to define and pursue their own paths. The goal is not short-term intervention but the creation of sustainable systems that provide long-term impact and meaningful change.

Healthcare access is a central focus, ensuring that women have the knowledge, resources, and autonomy to make informed decisions about their own bodies and well-being. The foundation invests in initiatives that expand access to reproductive services, preventative care, and holistic health education, supporting efforts that promote dignity and agency for every individual.

Supporting mothers and caregivers represents another key priority. Many face financial pressures, particularly during early stages of motherhood or while providing care for others. The foundation contributes to programs offering direct financial aid, guaranteed income support, and ancillary services that reduce economic strain. By reinforcing the stability of caregivers, the foundation strengthens the resilience of families and communities alike.

The advancement of women and non-binary entrepreneurs is also a critical area. Unequal access to capital, mentorship, and professional guidance can create barriers, especially for those from underrepresented backgrounds. The foundation partners with organizations that provide funding opportunities, coaching, and resources to help these business owners grow sustainable ventures and contribute to local economies.

Emergency response constitutes a fourth area of focus. Women and caregivers are often disproportionately affected by crises, whether natural disasters, health emergencies, or sudden financial setbacks. The foundation channels resources to frontline organizations that provide immediate relief, ensuring that assistance reaches those in urgent need quickly and efficiently.

One notable initiative is the Support for Moms Fund, a one million dollar commitment to back guaranteed income programs and essential services for new mothers and caregivers across the United States. In partnership with a nationwide network of organizations, the fund provides direct aid and supportive resources to help stabilize families during critical early stages, reinforcing long-term opportunity and well-being.

The foundation also maintains ongoing collaborations with groups dedicated to girls’ leadership, maternal health equity, reproductive healthcare, and small business support. These partnerships facilitate mentorship, health literacy programs, midwifery and perinatal services, and access to funding for entrepreneurs who may otherwise be excluded from traditional financial systems.

In 2025, the Rhode Futures Foundation responded to wildfires in Los Angeles by contributing one million dollars to emergency relief efforts for affected mothers, caregivers, and families, with additional resources raised through online and local sales. These funds were directed to organizations delivering urgent cash assistance and essential services.

Operating as a sponsored program of the Social Impact Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Rhode Futures Foundation prioritizes transparency and accountability. Its ongoing mission remains to strengthen women’s autonomy, economic empowerment, and access to healthcare, fostering lasting positive change for families and communities over generations.
